- We make sure we learn lessons from cases where adults and children come to serious harm and abuse and neglect was already known about or suspected.
- We ensure that there are effective arrangements in place for sharing information between organisations where someone might be at risk of being harmed.
- We employ clinical experts who can provide safeguarding advice to those who work in local health and care services
- We have ‘designated professionals’ who specialise in safeguarding adults, safeguarding children and safeguarding looked-after children (children in care).
