It covers the following council areas of Essex: 

• Epping Forest 
• Harlow 
• Uttlesford. 

Partner organisations

The organisations that make up the partnership include: 

• NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB 
• The Princess Alexandra Hospital 
• GP practices 
• Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust 
• Essex County Council. 

These organisations work closely with voluntary sector colleagues including:

• Rainbow Services in Harlow
• Council for Voluntary Services Uttlesford
• Epping Forest Voluntary Action.

Their aim is to provide services people need and deliver them in a way people want to use them in the most effective way. 

In recent years the partnership has established several initiatives to benefit the population of west Essex. These include: 

• West Essex Falls Car 
• integrated neighbourhood teams. 

Involving local people and communities

West Essex Health and Care Partnership is keen to work with patients and residents across the area to make sure services are delivering what they should, and to help design new services so we can get them right first time.
