These videos were developed by Hertfordshire-based lifestyle coach Monir Ali, who himself has type 2 diabetes, in partnership with the free advice and information service HertsHelp, and The Adda Club in St Albans. They are in English with subtitles in Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Arabic and Punjabi.

Video 1 introduces Monir and the background to the project.

Video 2 explains what diabetes is, and why some people are at more risk than others.

Video 3 looks at monitoring and the early signs of diabetes

Video 4 covers diet, and how to eat better while still enjoying your meals

Video 5 looks at exercise and how even a bit of keep fit can keep diabetes at bay

Video 6 is about taking charge of your health. Even if you are at risk of diabetes, there are things you can do to prevent it.
