The West Essex Falls Car Service has been designed especially to respond within two hours to calls from our elderly and frail population in west Essex who have fallen at home.
Launched in June 2023, the service is part of the Urgent Community Response Service provided by Essex Partnership University Foundation NHS Trust (EPUT). It helps prevent people from needing to call an ambulance and to be admitted to hospital, where possible.

The car service runs seven days a week, 8am to 8pm.
All referrals for the service are managed via the Care Co-ordination Centre.
