Sharn is the ICB director for the East and North Hertfordshire. Sharn originally trained as a nurse and moved into general management in 2003, working in a variety of hospital services across surgery, medicine, women’s and children’s specialities. Sharn became interested in the broader aspects of health and care and moved to work for NHS England across Hertfordshire and the South Midlands in 2013.
Sharn moved to East and North Hertfordshire CCG in 2015, initially, as the Director of Operations and then held the post of Managing Director until the inception of the ICB in July 2022, when she became the Place Director for East and North Hertfordshire.
