Alison joins Central East ICB as a Non-Executive Member, bringing extensive board-level experience and a commitment to championing the voice of patients and communities. She previously held a similar role at NHS Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes ICB, where she chaired both the Patient and Public Engagement Committee and the Primary Care Commissioning Committee, helping to strengthen the involvement of local people in shaping health services.
Before the creation of integrated care boards, Alison served as Vice Chair of the Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body, where she played a key role in supporting strategic leadership and oversight across the local health system.
Alongside her NHS roles, Alison has had a long career in retail, developing leadership, customer insight and organisational skills that she brings to her board work.
Alison is passionate about ensuring that people’s voices are heard and reflected in decision-making and is committed to helping design services that truly meet the needs of the communities they serve.
