To help get your views we carried out an online survey and also carried out some focus groups with members of our Patient Engagement Forum.
Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback.
What you said about our website
In your feedback about developing our new website you said the things that were most important to you, in order of priority, were:
- Being able to find the information I am looking for quickly and easily.
- Being confident the information is up to date.
- The information is short and simple to read.
- Knowing I will get a quick response if I ask a question or make a request through the website.
- Having pages or attachments which don’t take long to download.
- Having links to other topics and other websites where I can get more information about my topic of interest.
What we did in response to your feedback about the website
We have listened to your views as part of developing our new website.
We have made it easier for you to find information by:
- Creating a new single website that has information on health and care in one place. Previously we had separate websites for the Integrated Care Board and Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System.
- Redesigning the navigation of the new website and testing this with patients.
- Providing a better ‘search’ function.
We have reviewed and updated information on the website to make it shorter, easier to read and to make sure that information is up-to-date.
We have improved the ‘Contact us’ section to help you go to the service you need for particular enquiries. We’ve also provided ‘Contact’ cards on pages to make contact information easier to spot.
We have replaced document downloads with web pages where we can because we know these are easier to read, especially for people using mobile phones or screen readers.
We have provided links to ‘Related pages’ at the bottom of web pages to help you easily link to other topics of interest.
