Dorothy joins the ICB from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB, where she was a Non-Executive Member and Vice Chair.
Dorothy Gregson brings experience of the civil service, policing and public health. During Covid, working in Public Health England and later the Department of Health and Social Care, she was first Eastern Regions’ Deputy and then Acting Regional Director of Public Health. Before this, she was the Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s Office of Police and Crime Commissioner.
Dorothy is no stranger to the NHS in Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire having completed her medical training at Addenbrookes and her specialist public health medicine training within health and care organisations across the East of England. During her career she has been Director of Public Health for Cambridge City Primary Care Trust, South Cambridgeshire’s Primary Care Trust and for NHS Bedfordshire. She has been a non-executive with Bedford Hospital.
