That’s why Stevenage FC Foundation has teamed up with the local NHS to offer free blood pressure checks to supporters aged 40 and over.
High blood pressure often has no symptoms – but left untreated, it can lead to a heart attack or stroke. Around one in four adults in the UK has high blood pressure, and half don’t know they have it.
You may feel fit and strong, but the only way to know for sure is to get checked.
